The Grand Avenue State School office opens at 8.00am each day. Students are expected to arrive at school no earlier then 8.15am and 8.40am each day and to attend every school day unless there is a genuine, communicated reason. The official start of learning begins at 8:45am and and concludes at 2.45pm.

The school administration office closes at 4.00pm. It is expected that all students have departed the school by 3.00pm unless they are attending after school care.
