Student Resource Scheme

PublishingPageContent

The Student Resource Scheme (SRS) provides families with a convenient and cost-effective way to ensure their children have the necessary resources for school. By participating, all students gain access to the same high-quality materials, supporting equitable learning opportunities.

What is the SRS?

The Queensland Government funds essential aspects of education, such as teachers, facilities, and administration. However, individual student resources, like textbooks, stationery, equipment for personal use, excursions, and other classroom materials, are not covered by this funding. The SRS helps bridge this gap by pooling resources for cost savings.

Benefits of Joining the SRS

  • Cost Savings: The school purchases resources in bulk at lower prices.
  • Resource Quality: Students access high-standard materials to support their education.
  • Flexibility: Some items, like stationery, are owned by students, while others, like textbooks and musical instruments, are hired for specific periods.

2025 SRS Fee

The SRS fee varies per year level, ranging from $50.00 to $75.00.  Please refer to the letters on this page.  Participation is optional, but families not joining will need to supply their own resources

For more details about the scheme, inclusions, and fees for your child’s year level, or to access the participation agreement form, please contact the school office.
